Tasha Does Well in 2009
2009 was another great year for Tasha on the sporting field. She represented the County at Javelin, 200 Metres, Hockey and Netball where she has been made team captain.
In the Javelin Tasha represented Cumbria at the Don Valley Stadium, Sheffield in the English Schools Athletics Championships. Though she did not fulfil her potential, she really enjoyed the experience.
Tasha's greatest success came on the Hockey filed, where she progressed through several trials to represent the North of England side the Pennine Pumas, one of 4 teams from the 4 areas of the Country. The team played together in the prestigeous Futures Cup held at Cannock Hockey Club where four members of the Pumas Ash Bhogal, Eleanor James and Amy Tennant were selected to join the England squad.
