Near Howe 2008/9 Digital Photo Competition Details

Steve and Jill would like to invite all you budding digital photographers to submit your favorite pictures of Near Howe and the surrounding area, into our own digital photo competition.

To enter, all you need to do is e-mail us a copy of your picture - please try to make sure that you send us files of up to 1 Mb (larger file sizes should be reduced in size), together with your contact details, the date the picture was taken, and details of your stay at Near Howe.(The shots must have been taken during your stay with us.)

Steve and Jill will judge the photos towards the end of February 2009, and the winner will receive a two night stay for two people at Near Howe, to be taken at a time to be agreed with us.

All we ask in return, is that we be allowed to use the photos to help us promote Near Howe.

Near Howe Digital Photo Competition 2007/8 Results

After careful consideration, we have decided that it is not possible to have one winner of the competition. This year the prize will shared between Tom and Sue Peel for their view down towards Keswick, and David Barker for his snowy shot of Near Howe taken at New Year. Each winner will receive a complimentary night for two in the Guest Houses.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all those who have taken the time to send us entries, and encourage you all to have a go in the 2008/9 Competition.
