Sharp Edge - a luxury first floor apartment with stunning views over the surrounding fells from every room. You can even lie in the bath and savour the delights of Sharp Edge on Blencathra. The cottage has been tastefully furnished to the highest standards.

Accommodation: Comfortable living room with dining area and fully equipped kitchen with flat screen digital TV/DVD, cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, toaster.

Bathroom - bath and separate shower cubicle, W.C., wash basin and shaver socket, heater.

The bedroom has zip and link single beds creating a six foot double bed. All bedding and duvets provided.

You will have the run of the large, well tended gardens at Near Howe with many secluded seating areas.

There is a large separate laundry, in which you have the use of two washing machines a tumble dryer, and two drying cabinets, which are all coin operated (£1 for 1 hour).

Steve and Jill decided to call the new luxury upstairs apartment Sharp Edge after the famous Blencathra ridge, generally accepted to be the most exciting regularly used ridge walk in the Lake District, which is located on the final aproach to Blencathra.
